Liz,
6 Dinner Sid - That's so funny, I love that :-)
Yes, they are tarts. They know what they want and they'll go whereever they can to get it (and who are we to judge them for that?). It seems you have an ideal arrangement with Poppy, but doesn't it rub a little to think that she probably wouldn't really be devasted if more…

I had a similar experience - except our cat, named by us "6 Dinner Sid" after the children's story about another such, turned out to be a girl and called Poppy by her owners...
However, Sid decided she prefered us, and when her original owners moved away, she moved in "permanently" with us. The beauty is, we never have to arrange for her when more…

Thank *you*.
I wrote it because it made me laugh (and it is all true). But sharing it and making someone else laugh is the nicest thing of all.

Freaky.
I have a small tattoo. My friend and I went on my 27th birthday. She started to chicken out but I eventually persuaded her and was gobsmacked when she was finished to see a fully detailed 'pooky the rabbit' on her butt. I was even more gobsmacked when her entire family, liking the result, went out to get a tattoo...includ more…

My kid told me to 'chill out' the other day....aged 4. I learnt that she was quite right, I was so in need of chilling out at that particular time and I also learnt that Cartoon Network is not suitable and being binned.
My kids tell me I'm beautiful, even when I have a cold, sitting in old clothes and in need of a shower. They t more…

I agree.. You may choose not to take on the responsibility of parenting but I believe it is important that you have them in your life in some capacity for your own growth and experience as a human be-ing. Whether they be your friend's kids, nephews,nieces.. even volunteering.
They teach us to remember ourselves in innocence and honesty withou more…

Ah, sleepless nights. Or worse, so tired that when little 'un comes in and lies on you, you are too tired to move them and therefore sleep fitfully with a baby elephant strapped to your chest. Wake up feeling like crap, wondering why you think you are about to have a heart attack. Me. This morning. I feel for you. more…

That can be nice or nasty; it depends on so many things.
Strictly between the two of us, they've never been used. Just for the photo with Buster; oh, and to scare off someone who I really wanted to leave the house (damn those dating websites - attract all sorts...)
But never for fun, yet.

Liz,
I'm sure not.... We talked about the previous entry (fluffy handcuffs) and we both thought it would make a funny picture. Certainly no coercion and he's free to roam normally. He's currently back in his normal spot, on top of the wardrobe, looking as happy as ever.
